So you publish the DeCCS code leaving some semicolons, omitting some include file, or even bluntly putting comments around the whole source.
The program won't even compile, so it can't decrypt anything either.

Good point, if MP3/Napster or whatever is good or bad for CD sales will probably depend on who is paying for the research. In the end it's all damn statistics...
Anyway I know too many people with 30GB+ of MP3's who haven't bought a CD in a very long time. These same people will tell you that Napster promotes the sale of CD because "studies have proven it".
If you ask me that's just plain lame and cheap.
