they might be well shielded but some does get through. As an experiment in my EM Fields and Waves class, we took LED's, put a diode across the leads and moved them around the outside of the microwave. guess what. they lit up!!! They were brightest in the upper left hand corner of the glass. That means that radiation does leak from a microwave oven. Maybe not much, but at least some. Now imagine this beam, it's going to spread and do similar only with a lot more power.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. If you want to get technical. 2002 is the last year of the millenium. Our calendar (gregorian) actually didn't start until 3 A.D. So for people who feel the need to argue about this. Don't.
Embassy bombing a mistake? NATO's bombing efforts are not working (go w/ me on this...) and the US needs a contigency plan to get out and still save face. So what do they do? If we could get say, China, to oppose us in the bombing we'd have a way out. How do we get China to oppose us? Hmmmm. ideas?
The first test was completely bogus. They won't allow us to see the second. Why should we think the third will be fair? As many people have mentioned, Microsoft's image and Mindcraft's image are at stake here. They're going to make damn sure that the third test shows NT is better than Linux w/ Apache. I will never believe anything they say again. Hell, even if Linux/Apache/Samba wins I'll be suspicious, because maybe they'll be shooting for a chance in the future to have someone using Linux as a customer. I'm sorry. But I won't believe anything coming from their labs, even if Linus, Alan, et al, say it's good.

Maybe I'm smoking crack, but my interpretation of the 2nd amendment is that the populace has a right to bear arms to keep the government, more specifically power hungry politicians. in check. If the people in power start to get a little overzealous in their power struggle, there's an armed populace that keeps them from getting their way. Anyone who doesn't believe this could happen in this day and age isn't a very good student of history. Granted there are nut cases out there who abuse the right and innocent people get hurt. That's the way freedom works, it's called responsibility.

Ahhh, more vaporware.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Actually, to throw a large person, you don't have to pull very hard at all. I've seen a 45kg (~100lbs) woman throw a 95kg (~210) man.

This is purely hypothetical.
