I agree that just talking about wearing the logos does miss the point.
How about McDonald's in Scotland. They found a restaurant using the McDonald's name, and sued for breach of trademark. Lack of research, bucko. Turns out the restaurant was owned by Clan McDonald, had been in business for over 100 years, and had previous claim to the name. Result... Golden Arches ain't in the advertising game in Scotland, because they can't use the name. Rough justice is better than no justice at all?
Yep, gonna have GREAT propagation on the 28 MHz HF band today, tomorrow, and Saturday. Since we're already at the high point in Solar Flux, 10 meters has been open for long-distances, and with an event like this I should be able to get Europe, Middle East and Africa with about 100 watts power. Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.
A lot of this work has already been done by amateur radio operators (Hams). See http://www.arrl.org/ and search for "satellite". They hava a back issue article which is a primer on how to access a satellite. OSCAR 34(Orbital Satellite Carrying Amateur Radio) has cameras aboard, and the June issue of QST magazine has an article on how to access/download high-resolution photos.
