I call bullshit on your analogy.
To imply a site that reflects content created elsewhere shows no ownership over that content. Your analogy of a storefront distributing stolen goods also implies that a)the storefront in question stole the goods, and b) that the goods are being stored in the storefront for distribution, neither of which are the case.
The analogy FTA is much closer to reflecting the facts of the situation.
