Novell's "NDS for NT" has already saved me from Domain Hell (tm), so I have high hopes for using NDS to supplement LDAP-based services. The non-replicable nature of LDAPv3, short of ldif file import/export routines, I believe is a major drawback in using this protocol for authentication, especially in a 24/7 shop. Finally, it hasn't been too difficult to extend the NDS schema in order to support apps that *only* support LDAP authent. --Scott
