I agree, BGC is a great pices if you like cyberpunk/shadowrun type stuff. It even has its own RPG out, a three book set run off the FUZION system. However, stay away from the Crash sequel, as it is poorly written due to studio cooperation problems. BGC 2040 is very different, and lacks many of the originals good points in my opinion. While the animation is far superior, I dislike the character design changes and the plot alterations.
Yes, I have seen the trailer for it. Unfortunately that was a while back, and the only thing I really remember was that the art looked a lot like the Final Fantasy 6 (3 US version) character portraits.

The problem with American dubbing is that voice acting is at the very botton of the totem pole for actors. Most (not all) voice actors failed at such things as commercials and bit parts in TV serials. Directors for dubbing projects are just as bad. There are some good dubs, however, and occasionally there is someone who is just good at his role. Examples are the El Hazard OAVs (good dub), You're Under Arrest (good dub), Oh My Goddess (several good actors), Shinesman (great Power Ranges parody) and Largo in the Bubblegum Crisis dub. Vis dubs tend to be decent, as do AnimEigo, while everyone else tends to blow.
