In order for that to happen, Gimp for Windows would need to be in a usable state... which it still isn't. So no, in order for Gimp to get the windfall, the developers would need to take their product seriously.

Noticed they said "Programmers" not "Software Engineers", there is a HUGE difference between the two. Programmers are peons who design nothing, just code what they are told to code. Software Engineers design the applications/software from the ground up, has a game plan ready AND programs.
These companies only want Programmers.
This is VERY OLD news, why did Slashdot take over 10 years to report this? This actually came to light when the first FBI tap in AT&T's dark room came to light...
You had the option with Hulu Plus when it first came out. Then Hulu decided to backtrack after 2 months and put the ads back in...
You seriously can't trust the corrupt companies...
It sounds like it. Where I am at, the internet goes down in a weekly basis. (Welcome to Juneau, Alaska). There is no such thing as an always-on connection. If Microsoft is dumb enough to make this a requirement, they will most likely lose users. Just as they did when they decided the windows 8 UI must be designed by a kindergartner.
In alaska, you must pay over $200 a month in order to be permitted to subscribe to HBO. I can, however, get last seasons' episodes from Amazon.
If HBO had have a clue, they would allow anyone to subscribe to HBO Go, but they are not that bright. So... Until HBO get's a clue...
Lucky!
My oldest daughter was in ICU due to an Arianism (cell bed between the arteries and vessels never formed). She was in the hospital from March 2011 through April. Physical therapy from that day until October, and other therapies are are still continuing. Our continuing growing bill is in the tens of millions.
I am very thankful that she is still alive and have a high-ish quality of life, even though we'll be paying until we die;)

This is NOT news. Name.com has had an annual security breach for a minimum of 5 years. This is not news at all.
Like everything in life, age is not a reason to get rid of something.
Yay! More Adobe scams. Yay scammers! Ship the idiots to Nigeria.

youtube.com from a northwest state
They do work wonders. The problem is corrupt management comes on board and removes everything decent.

Are you in the Northwest? This is very common with the Youtube servers in that area.
Except that they haven't proven that with their NorthWest servers at all. And yes, it is their servers that are having issues.
Except that's not true at all. At least not with Chrome + AdBlock

I am paying $100 a month for a "10MB" DSL going 56k speeds. Welcome to Juneau, Alaska. You actually have it good!
I haven't found a Roku that didn't die in 2 months of use. So no, Roku is not a real life option.
Obviously, there's nothing illegal with what he did. The laptop is his property.
Umm .... what?

It makes since if you think on it.

Lol, you must be new to phones ... try one, and come back, instead of trolling. You are too obvious.
Yeah, panorama is pretty much a fake (the built into ios6). Nobody can hold their arm/hand steady to even take a moving shot.
I have over 200 reads. TheOldReader dies after importing 3 .... so no, it's not an alternative.

The answer to both questions is No. Next?
