Yeah, of course. First of all it should be a crime for first of all pretending to be someone who you arn't. Its like pulling over a car and pretending to be a police officer, if you get caught, you are in deep sh*t. I agree, if it infringes on the rights of others you are held accountable. but what infinges on the rights of others? is it said anywhere?
