I agree. Compared to the "weaknesses" mentioned in the article, there are much easier ways to take people's data.
For example, how many people will actually use a strong password? Given the kinds of passwords most people would use, a simple l0ftcrack-style attack should give you the ZIP password within a few minutes at the most.
