    Hi, as others have pointed out to me in the past, this is NOT the minimalist way of swapping -it's downright slow vis a vis the fastest way. Just because it's concise doesn't mean it's efficient.

    Consumers are still going to want to play their bought copies of The Sims and Quake 2/3 and Hoyles, several versions of Windows into the future. These games use DirectSound. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that DirectSound will not be crippled

    Therefore, full quality playback of MP3s without digital signing will still be acceptable, and all naysaying is, well, pretty much pointless.

    Heh, you should see the Thinkpad 240, it would really drive you nuts. It has a 'Function' key where the Ctrl-key normally is, and the Ctrl-key is packed between 'Function' and the space bar.

    Oh, btw, it rocks my world for editting text, and I've never had any problems with CTRL on this or any other keyboard. You're just karma whoring.

    Honestly, this guy is nuts. CD-RW sales have increased, and prices have decreased, since the price was introduced.

    They're still pricey vis a vis American disks, though. A write-only CD is about $50CDN/40, or about $0.90US/CD, which is far more costly than it is in the US.
