Well, the ISS finally can keep its own sorry ass up by itself without a whole lot of trouble now, and it has about as much functionality as Mir. People may have been bitching about the delay in launch, but lets not forget that was rather convienent as a number of US ISS components were viciously behind schedule. Even if the project starts to fall apart now, there are now enough components for people to try other things or to build something different than originally intended. Now that the shuttle has a place to go, maybe we`ll start using it like the space truck it really is. Now, just cross your fingers and hope the damn thing doesn`t crash into the modules already in orbit.
