I assume you never worked in an environment where you could only work 2 hours a day because 4 hours were done answering emails talking about what you would do? This is quite common where you receive +500 emails a day and sometimes every 10 alllll day loooong.
You can't go on vacation because your phone buzzes every 20 minutes and you need to get back in work mode and can't go on that boat trip etc. All it takes is 1% to ruin it.
Yes a $60,000 developer only gets $25,000 worth of work done because of email and it is a cost center. Not a profit one. Reply to all should never exist PERIOD! Reply to group would be more ideal with filters and rules on how big the recepient list is and who can be in and so on.
Managers not doing their jobs is another big one. Johnny should have to talk about what he is going to do 3 hours a day. Mr. PHB's job should be doing that and telling the other managers to contact him only and then at the end of the day email his team what is going on. Yes Firefox 4.0 was so bad I started using IE 9 back in March 2011. Sigh... wow. IE was better just a year and a half ago.
I didn't trust Chrome rendering sites properly yet as I only knew one person who used it back in 2010 before it exploded later in 2011.
I have Firefox 3.6 on a VM to test website development work on a home project as many corps still use that dinosaur. It SUCKS Badly. I never realized it back then because that is what all slashdotters used since we left IE 6. It is sluggish, the page goes clip clip clip when I hit the up and down arrows etc. 4.0 and 5.0 were twice as bloated and borderline unusable on an AMD turion from 2007 notebook.
Fastforward today and Firefox 17 is freaking fast, the javascript interpretter is 2x as fast. Firefox 19 supposed to be even leaner and be the fastest browser out there. Firefox 17 runs on this same notebook snappy and well.
My only gripe left is that it is unsandboxed and therefore not as secure. Flash now is sandboxed THANK GOD. But other than that Firefox is becoming good again just like IE is improving but at a much faster rate.
FYI the 64 bit of IE sucks and Microsoft recommends testing only. It can't utilize Chakra (IE 9s/10s javascript engine) properly and is neutered or runs IE 6 - 8 engine! Perhaps someone more knowledge can comment on this? 32-bit to play it safe is the general rule and what sites like www.zdnet.com recommend.

I can't send them to the office everyday and their parents always take the side of the student and tell her to fight on etc.
Contrary to popular believe I care and work hard for them and we all are required to take 24 units of courses on learning theory, behavior psychology, crises intervention (shown above), and so on. Sit down and shut up? Well, are they supposed to listen on their phones and yap while I try to teach a lesson instead? I think bad teachers should be fired. However if you try to fire me for only 70% of students passing state standards you wont find anyone else who can when these inner city school kids who hate authority do not give a shit. None of the other teachers have the passing scores either.
In a rich kids environment it is a different story. In other countries they respect the teachers and students want to learn.

I do not see the big deal but I am heavily biased in favor of the school as more teachers are hired if students stop skipping class and less lawsuits happen because pedophiles abduct children in the school and they didn't have an RFID to track them etc.
If you say the school should be responsible for child safety and attendance and penalize them as a voter with laws that state only physically present students are actually enrolled, then how is it fair that you sue and criticize them for solving it with RFID.

So lets say theoretically the students do not use them. Does the school still have cameras and do teachers still take attendance? The answer is yes.

Besides the terrible gui that supports multitasking and the ability for us to think for ourselves and choose what we want, is having something younger than 11 years old! What we need is the console with a green color as the background just like in 2001. We just type startx or ./xf86config and manually enter the monitors horizontal and vertical frequencies (careful not to fry your CRT bigscreen) and then xdm choose either fvwm or gnome-shell with a custom script that prevents the ability of having more than one window open at a time. That way we could be sooo hip and cutting edge or hate change and everyone is happy.

It has too many things that help content creation. The gui supports the mouse, gives you the ability to change it, and worse lets you have more than one Windows open at a time!
Screw that. Where is the crappy cell phone interface? I want to be hip and have my productivity limited so I can save 10 whole pixels on my 27 inch dual screens and tweet to my friends, which is why I purchased my Icore7 extreme edition! Now I can read a document and cut and paste things into another app at the same time which is sooo 2000s.
This is too technical to get my brain around Mate and this whole concept of multitasking that I need my shiny things back. Going back to WIndows 8.
