I read your (original) project-document, and I was very impressed -- as both a ham, and a veteran of (one of) the original GPS receiving systems (Magnavox, 1981-3). I left the microwave field after the late 1980s, when everyone (who worked in the Govt. Aerospace industry) found themselves jobless. (Today, computers pay my bills.) Many simply do not understand the philosophy of microwave technology (and the "rf-mindset," in general). "Doing it the right way" is always a chore. ('Strays' & 'parasitics' are unfathomable to most.) Moreover, even the more recently licensed amateurs have the tendency to view their equipment as toys -- not as 'platforms for creativity, and expansion of one's knowledge.' You've done everything right, and there are those who realize it. Keep up the good work, O.M. 73s......DE N6BHU
