Dear DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano:
Please resign. From recent events, it is painfully clear that you do not understand that one of the most fundamental aspects of security is not revealing your methods to the public. This includes telling us whether or not you plan on telling the whole truth about security flaws in the future. The announcement implies two things:
1. Your future comments might not be entirely truthful.
2. DHS's previous comments about cyber security in the past were 100% truthful, to the best of its knowledge.
The knowledge of either one of the above two items is just another tool for the enemy. They thank you for giving it to them so willfully.
