One thing to be careful of. I only run Windows 2000 while programming windows (for work only). And, all my partitions are ntfs. I don't know about 7.2, but 7.1 does not have ntfs added by default. You will probably need to compile the ntfs module. In 7.1 using the 2.4.3 kernel I had some difficulty reading the partitions. What's more, writing to ntfs is not yet recommended.
