I shouldn't read it because most people who post (1) have little regard for the fact that I am a human being and (2) use a single piece of writing of mine to generalize about me as a human being. The truth is that I have written no less than a dozen stories about Linux and Open Source. Most are linked from my page. It is ironic and hypocritical, if not pathetic as well, that people who accuse me of not doing my homework about Linux feel free to offer their opinions about me without doing their homework about my work.
At any rate, I appreciate the helpful comments and constructive criticism from those who gave them.
OK, so I am female. But I read slashdot. And I am a geek. And sometimes my editors don't catch typographical errors. At least I post with my own name and not as an anonymous coward. Plus, you are wrong. Stallman did make that comment at dinner last Sunday night. I would call you an idiotic sexist arrogant bastard, but I am above that.
Goodness you people are creepy. I follow neither astrology nor Wicca as some sort of religion.
Perhaps y'all need a refresher course in IRONY.
Most of all, what does my IRONY-laden Web page have to do with my column?

Sokolsky gave me permission to write it that way. I have an email to prove it. Lighten up.
I realize that I shouldn't read these threads, but how could I not?
