I'm a junior CS major. I chose CS rather than CE becuase I'd rather be doing software design rather than developing the next line of processors. Now don't get me wrong, you'll take courses in architecture with the logic gates and all that, just like I have, but the CS curriculum focuses mainly on programming and coding.
Basically, just think about what you want to do carrer wise: Wanna write code or create the SoundBlaster Plutonium?
