there already exists a compression algorithm that's better than mp3, VQF. it compresses about 35% more, and catches nearly the whole spread of frequencies. hit www.vqf.com and #vqf my friends http://prushac.tripod.com/vqf.zip for some WA plugin. Of course, once "MP4" goes public, everything else will probably be ignored..
