    The thing is, slashdotting isn't a gradual thing - it happens instantly. All at once you're hit by X users. It's not a pretty sight.

    Who says he didn't read it? And does it even matter? The point is that you didn't, so you don't have the right to trash it. The group compiling the report probably spent man-years compiling it. How long did you spend before discarding it?

    No. Changing four of them (sequentially or all at once) will result in you needing to call up - and changing hard drives four times doesn't count.
