It would seem that Nintendo has finally gotten their act together when it comes to console systems. They have always touted their technology as beyond their competitors but their games have fallen short. This is obvious when you realize N64 was out at around the same time as PSX and with double the power, but it is quite apparent who the winner was (sony vs nintendo). I also think Nintendo has finally dispelled piracy with their GameCube, at a cost of no DVD support though. In the long run I believe Dreamcast (and the potential DC2) and PS2 will overtake this system and vie for the #1 position in the industry. Nintendo has never been able to get the games it needs to keep its system afloat, a system cannot live on Zelda and Mario alone. But needless to say it will be fun to see what Nintendo can do with its new system, as they have always had a knack for marketing their products. On a side note, Gameboy Advance looks absolutely amazing and with Neogeo Pocket now off the market in North America there is no doubt it will quickly become and stay as the #1 handheld.
sites dont buy the cards because the companies are happy to send their hardware to the sites to review, the more exposure the better for the card manufacturer , especially when their hardware is tops in the field (nvidia)
"all my friends say, you hate windows so much , you install linux, and then run X, isnt it the same thing?" people dont seem to realize the stability, remote display, easy multiple monitor support, endless array of free software, and the flexibility of X that lets you customize it to run basically however you please... none of this is available in windows, nor will it ever be.. lets see a windows box stay up for more then 7~10 days running the windows kernel and then we can compare it to linux boxes running X with uptime over a year... until then i dont see any reason for anyone to badmouth Xwin
anyone who is surprised by this needs their head examined,... all your internet traffic is logged on some level either by someone watching, your isp, or by you yourself... you are never alone when you connect to the internet.. wether malicously or not
