You have absolutely got to find teh Neon Genesis: Evangelion series! It is absolutely wonderful - a great storyline, intense, deep plot, *very* intellectually stimulating and addictive as hell. Vampire Princess Miyu is another good one, but hard to come by. Bubblegum Crisis is fun, and for something just plain silly but a good watch - the TV Series of Urusei Yatsura. ~Moonrose~
It's really amazing... I am 23 years old and already at the job I have now I have had to take 3 stress-induced 4-5 day weekends over the last year because I was too exhausted to drag myself out of the bed and deal with saving the world. I always watched my parents when I was growing up and *swore* I qould never do that to myself, but here I am, beating them to it by about 10 years.
Not sure what causes me more stress tho - having 'net access at home or not having it. I am losing my mind not being able to check my e-mail and keep up with sluggy freelance at home right now since my beloved and I are moving and we haven't gotten connected yet. E-mail has almost replaced the telephone for me to the point former friends have become infuriated with me for never calling. It just seems so much more effective, being able to pick and choose my words carefully, crafting an eloquent e-mail to someone, rather than calling them and filling a half hour with vocal pauses trying to think of the right way to ask them "Could you help haul my dresser upstairs?"
