They are US military personal, flying over international water. As long as they were wearing their US uniforms, they can not be spies.

Actually, I'd liken MS to the Soviet space program. A few big time successes that are focussed on (first artificial satelite, first person in space, etc) and a lot a failures that were ignored/denied (rockets blowing up on take off and what not) Draw the MS analogy anyway you want...

OS 9 runs inside of OS X to provide support for legacy apps

Do you have to install OS 9 seperately to get the legacy support? If not, why include the CD?

One more thing, I just want to make sure I understand you. OS X runs on top of OS 9 to provide legacy support? That seems awkward to me. Maybe its just me.

And two, when you figure that an OS 9.1 CD is included (a $99 retail value), you're basically getting OS X for $30. Not a bad deal.

OS 9.1 is included? Why would that want to bundle an old OS with their new OS? That makes me think that they knew OS X wasn't ready for mass consumption.

Well, the problem is, every respectable scientist already buys into evolution and carbon dating, so they present them as fact in their papers. Actually, it's not really that much of a problem, because it's true. It's just that idiots like you have been mislead. These papers are not trying to prove evolution at all, any more then you're average Linux HOWTO is trying to prove that Linux exists. It's not supposed to try to convince you.

Basically what you are saying is "That was proved long ago so I'll ignore anyone who disagrees"? The problem I have with that is that religion can make the exact same argument. Or maybe the problem is that science has become it's own religion, and it's followers attack "non-believers" just like anyother religion. I know people will say science can prove it is true. But then again in the minds of any religion it has been "proved" true.

And what do you think people would say if he told them that they can't have the e-mail because it was private/personal e-mail? Conspiracy nuts would go nuts.
