Yeah. Most of the mp3-based players I've seen have been very
song-centric, which is rather useless for people like myself who like
albums. I also like Emacs, so I (naturally) wrote an Emacs-based mp3
jukebox to serenade me.

I think it was Jamie Zawinski who said that every application seeks to expand until it can read e-mail. I would add the corollary that the really bloated applications expand until they can browse HTML.
