I work my day job so I can afford food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. I work at night on things that interest me (mostly code and theory) to further the knowledge base of the human race. You know, the one we all belong to. The things I do are freely given to any who wish to use them and improve them.
All ideas and products belong to the human domain. There is no ownership of ideas/processes/phrases/etc.
We're all on the same team. When are we going to start acting like it?

W3C should get off their lazy asses. For once, I agree with Microsoft. They are giving the developers more options. Don't cry about, beat them to it. Sure, they're a bunch of monopolistic bastards, but they are really pushing the others to keep up.
