    The thing that worries me is, this is a console game. You can't ship a shitty console game just to meet a deadline and then send out "patches" every 2 days like PC developers do.

    This sounds like my previous occupation, where myself and a few choice friends operated a "Vehicle Lending Library" where we would temporary borrow a strangers car for 24 hours and then leave it in a ditch somewhere.

    According to the street legends at the time this was perfectly legit as long as you dumped the car with a full tank of gas.

    The question is, would Sealand even take on the Napster clone? After all, if the British gov or the RIAA really wanted to be kill the service then they could just cut your cables.

    Afterall if the RIAA couldn't prosecute Sealand for breaking laws in the US then I doubt that Sealand could do much to prosecute the RIAA in Sealand.

    Why is this moderated as a troll? He's right. MPEG is a BROADCAST standard, it was always meant to be a transmission, not a file. You shouldn't be allowed to moderate posts on a topic IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SUBJECT MATTER. When did the validity of facts become a popularity contest?

    Actually most port scanners have stealth modes that slowly scan ports over days or even weeks. They attempt to slip beneath the amount of traffic to set off automated defenses. Scanning over a year might not be that far fetched.

    This card is a SMPTE-310M receiver, which means it will only work with terrestrial broadcasts and only with ATSC signals. This means if you can pick up your local NBC station than you can get Leno in HD on your harddrive.

    This device will NOT work with DVB or COFDOM signals. this means it won't work with sat. or cable broadcasts, and if the Sinclair group has its way it won't work with anything in a few years.

    Note: ASI ingest PCI cards are readily available, so your dreams of unfettered HD cable access are still valid.

    If you do buy this card make sure you invest in a decent 2nd gen antenna. 8VSB is a bitch to receive.
