Intriguingly, the postlink sources have a makefile for linux even though OpenTV doesn't officially support linux. Hopefully they'll release their toolchain for linux RSN.
Without question, you should read the Witches of Karres. It was out of print for years, but a small print run occurred a few years ago. Amazon seems to have a few (it costs $30). This seems to have produced a glut of the older paperback copies (check bookfinder.com) -- before the new print run, it was almost impossible to find. This is fantastic old-school sci fi.

This is wrong.
A 2% disadvantage means that on every bet, you should expect to lose 2% of your money.
That means over the long haul you don't walk away with 98% of your money, you walk away with 0% (well, that's the limit, and given that you can't slice minimum bets, you hit that limit).
...even if google does seem to be the land of chocolate.
This website does a good job summing it up:
gmail creepy.
How much does the damn thing weigh?
In the text of the web page, it says 3.2 pounds. Okay.
But then they write (156 grams). ?!?!?? I know Reagan
cut all the metric education, but come on... that's not
even close.
Then, down below in the specs section, they convert 3.2
pounds as 145 grams. WTF?
Makes me a little nervous about their technology in general...
sdk is here.
freetv has the announcement.

Some artists are making their works available for free. MC (Stephen) Hawking has put up three of his works for no cost. Check it out.
