    You mean your post to be a troll, or at least flame-bait, but in truth, I don't really care. Africa? It means nothing to me if they wipe each other out. The conflict is entirely local and has been going on for centuries. I really don't care. Same for most localized conflicts.

    What I do care about is interference. There was no excuse for what Europe, and more recently, the US has done in the Middle East. There's certainly no excuse for the continued interference disguised as attempts to moderate peace.

    What you write makes no sense what so ever. The kernel provides interfaces between its core services and the drivers. It doesn't matter how many drivers exist, so long as they use the proper interfaces. All kernels work this way.

    Very few countries cared in the slightest what Germany did to the Jews. That includes Great Britain and the United States.

    I think most European countries were far more concerned about Germany's invasion or plans for invasion of their countries.

    My understanding is that's it's actually for accounting purposes. The equipment can't be written off the same way if they are donated, or something like that. I'm neither an accountant nor a tax specialist.

    I'm not sure I agree with the style format complaint, but he does describe it accurately. Bullets and numbered lists do indeed behave as poorly as described.

    Apple actually owns CUPS now. But, yes, they still make it available under an OSS license.
