To me the real issue is that I've been paying the same amount for a lesser service. If they can't offer me the streaming that they offer Windows users, they should charge me less. Certainly they can see that I've never streamed a single movie.
If these cameras are in fixed locations/positions, how long before people begin to take over these street locations with posters, spray painted ads, and even performances or ad-hoc concerts?
Everything changes, even how we make a living. I myself paint cars. If someone tomorrow came up with a cheap method for producing car parts that never need to be painted, I would be out of a job while the entire world heralded the new technology as a breakthrough.
We all want to think that once we have our lives in order, they're going to stay that way. Nothing is guaranteed, not even whether yesterdays market will be here tomorrow.
It's no one's fault but your own if you're selling something no one wants to buy.
This very same thing happened to me a week ago. I documented the screenshots here and here (uploaded on May 1).
I had just installed Tiger 2 days prior, so I suspected a hole the operating system, as you can see by the title of the screenshots. That also prompted me to post a question (along with everything I had learned about what was happening) to Mac Rumors, to see if anyone had known anything at all about this at the time.
Again, this was in the morning Sunday, May 1. Everything I'm reading late last night and this morning seems to indicate that this is the first time anyone is seeing this happen. It's not.
It's shit like this, America.

I, for one, would love to see this exploited.

Click "Product" at the bottom of the page. Sorry about the mispaste.
I saw one of these in an ad in a Mac magazine a few months back and wished I had had one during my trip to NYC for HOPE.
