Yup, its a trademark jointly owned by Sun, HP and another comapany, I forget which, if I'm not mistaken. I've seen the notice on my workstation at work. But in a sense, its a "dead" trademark since OpenWindows got replaced by CDE. I believe trademarks are have to be defended to be effective unlike copyrights. I wonder if the consortium in question would find it worth their while to raise a stink....
