Hi it's not which is faster or which opens tabs faster but the total number of tabs you can have open at the same time without crashing your system that counts Firefox wins hands down on both the OS of the evil empire and Linux.

So Microsoft wins. I would willingly donate to Loki and I don't generally play games :-) However my guess is that the distribution model they use is wrong for the linux community(retail boxes). What is wrong with full download of product files (redistributable to save their bandwidth)and buying a licence key per pc locked to the hardware on the machine with a nominal extra fee to transfer the licience to another machine. Loki do this at a reasonable price and I promise to purchase your games or offer shares and I will invest :-) Regards Michael New Zealand

  3. Your rights online Suggestion :-) Fighting fund on More On Kaplan's Ruling Making Links Illegal · · Score: 1

Is'nt it about time we put a stop to this, a US judge applys a ruling that affects internet users world wide and I am expected abide by it? It is rather obvious that the only concern in this case is looking after the revenue stream of existing business interests whatever happened to putting out the best product and competing in the open market. My concern is not Napster or similar services but that I see these and similar judical rulings as attempts at censorship and control of my rights to use the web *freely* Now if every concerned net user donated $1 US to a fighting fund and Judge Kaplan, the RIAA, and any big business inteests or US congressman were *personally *sued would'nt the boot be on the other foot :-) How about it Slashdot people will you donate $1.00 to a fund to oppose unwarrented control of net use? Would we need to form a charitable trust with non payed volunteers to administer this? Or how about an automatic $1.00 per month from each donor :-) Imagine the clout of 500,000 donors each month funds left over after we have freed the net could go to open source software development or feeding the hungry.

Check out http://www.Eckelobjects.com for Bruce Eckels book "Thinking in Java 2nd ed" excellent book.I read the book then because of ease of use bought the book. Who hasn't bought a record or cd of a favourite artist and been disapointed at the other tracks? Listen to the Mp3 make your decision by the cd IF you like it for the better quality. This issue is about the free exchange of information being controlled by corporate interests. End of Story. Host an Mp3 by an independant you like on your own website, that is the best form of protest, or picket your local music store the media would lap it up.
