Its really a strange bug actually, that happens from time to time... Its start out by guessing that all my tapes are NTSC (which none are) and then the system slowly degrades until I reset the system... If I let it run too long, NOTHING will work! (No menu-system, no recording capabilities - NOTHING) After running the specified reset function, everything is OK again... Really strange...
Has your VCR never made a software error ??? Well mine has (several times) and in fact, the manual even states, what should be done, if this should happen! (Btw: Its a Philips VCR if any would like to know)
Even IF the software is done in a microcontroller with no OS (which in fact becomes less and less frequent; most microcontrollers use some sort of OS or at least a kernel) then I still feel the software aught to be Open Source, so the public can audit it and go to court if they find something "unintended"...
No in fact its not totally correct! Megabit means (as any guy in telecommunications will tell you) 1000*1000 bits (thats 1 million bits) but megabyte is 1024*1024 bytes (thats quite a bit more than 8x)
Just wanted to post something ^_^
Since you are running at 450 millihertz (mHz) I can understand your problems... Probably you should try overclocking to, say, 450 megahertz (MHz)
Don't worry... The next version will be WineXP ;-)
She is immortal and she has never even met Conor McCloud from the Clan McCloud ;-)
