    MS on the other hand, really don't know how to build a filemanager for their phone, so they gave up.

    I'm honestly surprised when someone on MSDN knows the precise reason something works or does not, their own code probably looks like muck to them, too. Keep going through these exercises of "try this..."

    OT - I'm not surprised. Is anyone surprise? Apple is the private sector equivalent to the NSA.

    Being tracked and pestered because I'm walking around with my mobile on, to activate stuff, would be a nuisance (I feel it's a nuisance that it rings, it's for me calling people, not the other way around ;-)

    And like it or not, you'd be tracked, even if everyone promised you were not being tracked.

    I see them, now and then, during the daylight hours, but you have to be looking up and in the right area to spot them. Some are pretty exciting to see.

    He wants more than fame, he wants to establish Russia as a global power, again. Problem is, his economy is mostly natural resourced exporting - which means it's pretty weak on manufacturing or services.

    Well, yeah, raping children and giving them drugs, it's pretty illegal, but has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment.

    At the time there were limited arms (you took about 2 minutes to reload) vs able to empty a couple clips in that same amount of time, now.

    Further, rifle, cannon and naval mines were about all there were. The most literal interpretation of that 2nd amendment means I could possess nuclear weapons, bacterial weapons, chemical weapons, and were I wealthy enough, my own tanks, APCs, fighter jets, bombers, etc. In short, the 2nd amendment favors the rich because they can arm themselves to the hilt, should they wish. Not very equal, is it?

    Having done some off-road driving the big advantage here is when you crest a steep hill and need to see what is immediately on the other side of the crest. A variation on this is when you crest a hill, on a narrow trail, which may be curved, which makes it nearly impossible to see what is beyond and which way you need to turn to stay on track or avoid a hazard, which you can't get out and see.

    It's nice, but not something you couldn't have rigged yourself and I'm pretty sure kits exist for.

    It's a tax. It's so some people can spend money without going to the trouble of earning it.

    It takes a lot of money to run a city. Several of California's larger cities are near bankrupt (yeah, yeah, don't honor contracts on retirement, blah, blah, blah) Keeping SFO afloat means the city is always looking for a way to stick it to people. One of these days Golden Gate Park will be crammed with parking meters (or those pay stations) The city is becoming less friendly to tourism. Why bother with festivals and stuff when you keep robbing visitors.

    We're moving development into HTML5 and CSS3, with more users interested in apps which they can use on tabs or mobiles.

    Big trick is figuring how to make apps work on a smaller screen and not totally suck (like fb does.)
