I am all for switching to host headers. My old company was doing it for years also. Most of the people who object to this are people that need to better understand the proper way to host sites. I was suprised at the ARIN meeting. The larger hosts (who understand the issues) had almost no gripes, the smaller people (the mom's and pop's)didn't really seem to understand how it all works. I think some education is in order!
or you could also start relcaiming some legacy address space -- there are so many companies out there have B addresses that are not using them --
