ESA used their Gaia spacecraft back in around 2002 to probe the blind spot behind the sun, so they are taking it seriously.
But NEA's are coming at different speeds/trajectories, all those variables determines where it ends up, having a blind spot behind the sun doesn't help tracking them.
I don't understand what all the fuzz is about, it has been this way for ages.
Take normal price for a ps3 game in USA, using Uncharted 2 as an example, would be $59.99 at ebgames.com, if you go to the danish store at ebgames.dk the same game is 549 danish kroners, converted to USD that would be around $110.
But like I said, it's been this way for ages.

It's actually also happening in Denmark now.
In a small town in western Denmark called Laasby, the toads are also exploding. Another weird thing is, that it often occurs between 2 and 3 in the night.
Sorry, that's true...but the point is that they ARE doing this to probe the blind spot behind the sun.

2 days is good, but what about the object coming from behind the sun?
More work should be able to see what's coming from the 'blind spot'.

I actually attended the first digital movie shown in Denmark, it was I, Robot. It was really impressive razor sharp image quality.
Our prime minister has officially denied that Bill Gates supposedly "threatened" him.
