    Myth:In 1997, George W. Bush signed into law a bill stating that hand recounts were the preferred method in a close election in Texas. The bill, "HB 330", mandated that representatives of all parties be present to prevent fraud.

    Fact:In 1997, George w. Bush signed into law a bill stating that hand recounts were the preffered method in a close elction in Texas on the ballots where you color in the circle, not the ballots where you punch a hole!!!

    First of all, what if it cloudy? Obviously, you would need some type of reliable backup system in place. However, if there is a way to create a reliable backup that doesn't weight as much as fuel would, it is a good idea.

    Computers are getting easier, but, they aren't losing features. For example, Windows 3.1 is obviously an upgrade from DOS, in that it has a visual interface and it needed DOS to run, so people could use DOS if they want to. Windows 95/98 aren't much different from 3.1, they just have better compression and a few other petty features. If you want a hard, but good operating system, be like me and download Linux from www.redhat.com

    Ok, fine, Maybe Opera isn't based on IE, but Mozilla is based on Netscape 5.0. Go to there website at www.mozilla.org. They say "Mozilla is based on a very early version of Netscape Communicator 5.0 with all of the code that Netscape is unable to release due to license or export restrictions"

    With all due respect to Opera and NeoPlanet, they should not be considered 'Alternitive browsers' They are both based on the same driver that Internet Explorer is based on. Mozilla, another 'alternitive browser' is based on Netscape 5.0. A true alternitive browser is HotJava. While it is slow, it isn't based on the same driver as IE or Netscape.
