Where the hell did he say that he wasn't going to write doco? He just said that he was going to give priority to fixing problems... not EXTENDED changelogs.
Virus scanners... there's a few Notes Native that are platform independant. One that comes off the top of my head is Sybari. IIRC, it even uses standard Norton or Mcafee (don't know which) dat files.
Exchange itself is not groupware. The infrastructure is messaging. That's it.
Calendaring, scheduling, messaging... all messaging. Even the calendar sucks...
You post is pretty much useless. Go look at Notes or E-Room...

Because the patch does not fix the problem completely. Even if your server is patched, if you are redirecting URLs, the worm will be able to infect your machine.

Take note that the patch is vulnerable. If your server is redirecting URL's, then the patch will not work for you. Take a look here:

You (and many others on these threads) are forgetting that OS X isn't just about *BSD and Aqua... it's also about the entire OpenStep frameworks, Objective-C, Administration which is XML based, and other items.
Those will be difficult to just port over to Linux. BTW, its LinuxPPC.

It's about implementation
