Just because the processor will be Intel doesn't mean they're going to be building machines with off-the-shelf parts. Apple is still going to be making custom mainboards, etc. Also, I don't see how this is giving anything to Dell or HP or anybody - they are NOT going to have OS X. They are not going to look like Macs, and they are not going to BE Macs. Where do all these crazy conclusions come from?
Your G4 processor was obsolete when you bought it.
It's not like your PPC is going to stop working next year. It's not like Apple is going to abandon PPC users. I'm sure that eventually, like the 68000 series, the PPCs will stop getting updates. I'm sure that date is a lot farther in the future than the usable lifetime of a G4 mini.
Personally, I'm still going get a G4 mini. I'm sure they will be faster, maybe cheaper in the future. Such is all technology.
Rampages do respawn in GTA3 - they just respawn in their "alternate" position. In other words, there are two positions each rampage mission can appear in. Fail the mission from one position, and it appears in the other.
I think that Diablo II delivered what it set out to deliver: a more refined hack-and-slash experience than the original. Blizzard never claimed it would be a "real" RPG experience. Like all games, it has a different level of appeal for different people; personally, I like the game and I enjoy a few mindless hours of killing with my friends online. But I don't think the "spark" is gone, by far -- it's still a top 10 seller.
This is official, the expansion will have 800x600 support. I suspect that it will just make things "smaller" rather than better detailed, unfortunately.
Like a friend of mine said, there's something inherently attractive to humans about the 6" disc format. People like the CD: It's shiny, it's round and it's flat. Who wants a boring, boxy VHS tape when you can have shiny, happy DVDs that double as art?:-)

Do you seriously think you have any sort of privacy when you walk into a casino? Automated system or no, there are cameras pointed *everywhere*.
