Let me tell you; I had to work at a Radio Shack one summer, and it was confirmed to me that consumers need every POSSIBLE simplification of technology. It will probably be a GOOD thing when the average sheep- i mean joe- doesn't have to worry about anything more than, "Memory stick goes here. Plug goes in wall. My stuff works now!" and leave the technical details to the eggheads.
The choice is to either simplify the technology to that level, or accept that you are limiting your potential market..... just my 2 cents
I remember that they never used to let me go outside during an eclipse because I would just stand there and STARE at it. God, I miss those days. Why can't we have a good ECLIPSE, instead of some stupid little spot? I can't even see that! A dozen times earth's diameter? WHATEVER! The MOON is bigger than that- I mean, look- it covers the whole sun. I want a frickin eclipse.
The odd thing is- I would have expected the acceleration to which they were referring to be the normal force in all circular motion... Big massive stars going in a small circle really fast = a lot of something pullign them towards the middle...
