I never worked for Corel, so I can't say much about that endevor, but I did spend a summer working for Mitel when it was about 16 people in a little shop. I had just finished my first year of University. Mike Cowpland gave me may first real engineering task to complete. I promptly made a total cock-up of the whole thing. After a few weeks, Mike came by to see how I was doing. I recieved praise for the parts that worked. He helped me to fix the parts that didn't work and ended up giving me the credit for the whole shooting match, when it was finished. Sadly, I was young and stupid and assumed that all bosses were like that. A word of warning to you young-uns, its taken me more than twenty years to find a similar working environment (All Linux all the time. I'm a very happy camper). Good luck Mike. If I ever find myself looking for a job in Ottawa, I will definately be coming by to bug you.
