However, as your structure size will always be of the order of the wavelength, actual structures will never be so small as in 45nm CMOS and beyond. But anyway, it's the degree of functions per unit surface that counts, not how small your smallest structures are.
Yeah right. For supercomputers & the like, this probably makes sense, if accompanied with good system management softw. But for general purpose computing: we've seen where BeBox, NeXT etc went...
It's just a matter of culture. in the US, a good college is were you pay a lot of money. Likewise, a good musician is someone who plays in a well-known band or orchestra, whether he/she plays good or bad doesn't matter. In other regions of the world, people make up their rankings using different culture-dependent criteria
