I am sick of the Record Labels stating CD-R sales as a argument for their cause. I use all my CD-Rs for data backup and making sure originals don't get scratched. Therefore, telling us raw sales figures is worthless because they cannot prove that all CD-Rs are used for copying their precious overpriced music.
According to my Astronomy course, Super-Massive black holes are less "violent" than their smaller brothers because most of the mass is concentrated at the center in a very very small space. Their event-horizons are very large because of this mass, which makes them seem not as dense as we would assume. With a small black hole, the event horizon is very small, and thus the effects near the point are much more drastic because mass that passes the event horizon is "consumed" immediately. I realize I am simplifying quite a bit, but hopefully you get the point.
do you realize what a wonderful gift openoffice is to the community? sun needs to power its business, but they are providing quality alternatives for resonable cost or none in the case of openoffice. even if they are charging, they are still promoting a free market with cross-platform standards. a free market is not always free beer its free competition.
