What about Ghost In The Shell? This CLASSIC IMHO incorporated CG quite a while ago and did a better job at it (check out the transparency effects for example).

I cannot imagine this one gaining much popularity.
I mean, who wants this resolution in black and white at THAT price? Talking about Dick Tracy; this includes the raincoat and the hat!
Let 'em pump up the specs first, then we can discuss this again. This stuff isn't even worth mentioning here at/.!
Where I live (The Netherlands) the government has implemented a kind of Tax on all consumerproducts. This includes TV sets, stereo's, computers, walkman's, the lot.
It's called "verwijderingsbijdrage" (removal fee)
which you pay whenever you buy consumer electronics.
This money is used to recycle the goods once they get obsolete/broken in the next couple of years (or so they say).
Well, actually his name is Jack Schitt! Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married Oh Schitt, the owner of Knee-Deep Schitt, Inc.
In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt, and the deeply religious couple produced 6 children: Holie Schitt, the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt, and Bull Schitt.
Against his parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. Dip Schitt married Loada Schitt, and they produced a timid son, Chicken Schitt. Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt were inseparable throughout childhood, and consequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The Schitt-Happens children are Dawg Schitt, Byrd Schitt, and Hoarse Schitt.
Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned home with his new bride, Pisa Schitt. After being married for 15 years, Jack and Noe divorced. Noe later married Mr. Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.
Well, thats about as much as I can tell you about Jack. So don't YOU go tellin' ME that I don't now Jack Schitt!;-)
The benefit of the tiny screen might be that the utterly crap resolution of Doom will not be visible. Justice served at last.
IMHO the eyestrain sets in when playing Doom on the big screen. When you get up close to enemies they tend to look like theyre made up of Lego's!
Still it kicks some real butt a the classic FPS of yesteryear, together with Wolfenstein ofcourse.

I wonder how a Beowulf Cluster of these would perform...
