between me and another friend, we had four ka7-100 mobos die, due to this. apparently you can get replacement caps through digikey for $10-20 if you're willing to _carefully_ solder them on the board.
There is a newer version of TetriNET as well. Unsurprisingly titled 'TetriNET 2'. It adds many features along with essentially eliminating cheating (prominent in TetriNET 1.xx) by making all piece generation server-side. Connection is based to a main server, and distributed between many other regional servers, so you can find games all the time, but still connect to one in your area.
