I think that people also want wireless access, but they want it at the price of the cheaper wired access. Personally, I would like to be able to get on the net from my laptop anywhere in the world at a limited bandwidth, but I don't want to pay the extreme costs that come along with it. I think when prices come down a little bit on wireless, that it will become a partner with wired access, not a competitor.
