This is the limit, we are using this technique for many years allready. Granting a patent on something as obvious as this only shows how stupid american patent laws are. Americans seem to think they own the world and anything on it.
The only thing one can say is: Fuck off Americans and leave the world in peace.
This is just another way of showing that America is fascist country (Imposing fundamentalist christian drug laws on the whole world and granting patents on genetic knowledge are other things proving this)
It is a common misunderstanding to call electric cars clean. They just produce the polution in another place. If one is interested in clean transport, consider other fuels like hydrogen.
