  1. Re:That looks horrible on Get Your Moto On · · Score: 1

Hmmm, the major problem I see with this (which is the same major problem Perl, PHP, ASP and many others have) is that the script and the HTML are all wrapped up together. This is fine for something small like putting a counter on a page, but it becomes a real nightmare when you have scripts running to thousands of lines and hundreds of pages in your site (the sites I run aren't huge and I've run into both of these problems).

The only solutions I've seen which truely solve this problem are Java (has to be compiled) and ASP.NET (limited to Windows and HTML not yet standards complient).

I love PHP, but I would love it more if the next version allows clear seperation of web design (html) from code.

If you can achieve this in MOTO, I might be interested.

My grandmother was terrified of being buried alive, which was why she insisted on being cremated (that is to say, before she died, she insisted that she be cremated after her death). At least Einstein didn't have too much to worry about in that department...

Surely any self-respecting Linux games will also include the source code on the CD so you can recompile your own personal version. Putting it on a bootable Linux CD is only so Windows stick-in-the-muds (like me) can still run it (sorry, still have NT on my main box, and my Linux box isn't really up to most games).

Kenny was also in Amadeus, as an opera-singer of, er, diminished stature. Aparently he actually sung himself (as opposed to miming).

  9. Re:An actor? on Kenny Baker Will Be In Ep2 · · Score: 1

There have been a mixture of robotic and "live" R2s. Even in the first movie there were some simple robotics used. Generally, three-legged R2s are robots, while ones standing and doing stuff have Kenny inside. If you look closely, you can see tubes from the body into the legs for Kennys feet!

While I agree they could do a lot with robotics, shots like the one of R2 stretching up to see into Yoda's hut would be difficult and would probably require a specially constructed R2 for each shot!

I'm glad Kenny's in Ep2. I met him once and he's a very nice man.
