I know of no current plans for a Linux kernel, but I have knowledge of an "unofficial" Solaris x86 port of the ICSF SDKs, so presumably some of the byte-swap issues have been identified and resolved. Once you're on an x86 UNIX platform, it can't be that hard to move to Linux.
As for the x86 ICSF port - the best POC for info might be Dr. Jackie Lawrence at Logicon-INRI in Reston.
