Part of the problem is the perception that anyone over the age of 35(like me) cannot learn anything new. The "cannot teach an old dawg new tricks" syndrome. Since I am putting myself through college a 2d time, I find this ironic when I am helping fellow students that are only 3 years older than my son.
Also, it is tacitly understood that our BS tolerance level for stupidity/lies from PHBs is less due to constant exposure to it/them. This is quite a different attitude than what PHBs get from someone whose continued life in the USSA{misspelling intentional} depends on the green card tied to employment at the discretion of the PHB.
As long as the Congresscritters swallow this oft repeated lie, then the present situation will persist. Then I submit that we need to email our Congresscritters and vent to them some of our concerns about this discrimination. The job you save may be your own.
