Yes. Especially against combatants who do not adhere to the Geneva accords.
Excuse me? So it's alright for the US Government to ignore human rights entitled to prisoners of war through the Geneva Convention?

There is. Type in about:config in your address bar, location the preference "middlemouse.past", double click on it to toggle its value.
In windows I turn this setting on as I find it very handy to paste copied urls into the address bar by middle clicking on the address bar page icon (works like the "Paste and Go" extension). It's also handy for filling in forms and the search box with copied text.
Dammit. How come when I want to mod a comment up I have no mod points?

While I don't see anything wrong with your reasons for using pine over gmail, both have their pluses and minuses and it's really up to the user's preference, I do find it ironic that you have no trouble using flickr for hosting photos when you could have hosted the photo on your own server. Any reason you have for using flickr is certainly similar to the reasons others have for using gmail.
I doubt it. Everyone with an existing @gmail account will already receive email sent to @googlemail so in essence there's already millions of @googlemail addresses out there.
You really have a thing for 70's Swedish pop bands don't you.

First of all, you shouldn't expect a responce from those you cc'ed the email to. If you want a response then include that person in "to" field.

For years, Canada's RCMP has had an agreement with the NSA that the RCMP eavesdrops on American citizens and vice versa.
