Does the greeter at walmart have any leverage? Unions are there to protect the people that have been there the longest. They serve little function beyond that.
That translates into they need to keep the suckers coming. Unfortunately those are the same that will happily buy the cheapest thing with the right buzzwords at walmart, big box electronic stores cant keep them happy nor can they compete with walmart on the race to the bottom.
I do wonder do people not read there contracts and remove this bits? I've not taken the default contract since my 2nd job in the industry and never not gotten the job because of it.
I'll second that bigger is better. They need sales staff like a hole in the head a couple of checkout people and one decent honest tech. Simple signage can tell the consume what they need to know take HD TV's, for flat panels Plasma good (it gets dimmer over time), better LCD (when the back light goes ti's trash), best lcd-led should last nearly forever in tech terms ya might get 10 years out of it, same thing for res 720p good, 1080p best, 3d subjective should try watching one for a couple hours before buying one.
Since you only have to defeat one device some in foil will do to block the signal no FCC issues. I can already picture the huge contracted in penalty for no gps data.
Try a network tuner like the hd homeruns. Make a lot more sense than a tuner in every device and is thus cheaper. A single mcard cable card can do 6 streams (the HD homeruns only do 3 per card for some reason).
True but there is little differential cost or operational cost dependent on bandwidth used. AT&T does not pay for bandwidth to anyone, fiber is a fixed cost. Routers will cost ya but were not talking huge numbers here for 4g even. Techs are a fixed cost it does not change with bandwidth used. Data centers really do not come into play they are not specific to the wireless network.
Your correct they are free get the papers, I can not find a case of a person with encrypted papers forced to decrypt them. How is this different then me sending a at the time very secure book based cipher (each end has the same copy of one ore more common books you write out codes the refer to words in those books). They are skirting around the fifth with the you don't have to tell us but you have to do something.
The evidence has already been collected a defendant should not be required to help them read it.
Since the Vatican is it's own state I would think the pope travels on a diplomatic passport, so yea he should not be scanned groped or otherwise molested.
You get all sorts of stupidity with this sort of thing. I know a city who put this all on there network. It's actually stopping them from getting off a bridged network as there security plan was static IP's on a different address range. This stuff is old and does fun things like arp constantly.
At 29 vs 19 pins it does have the pin count to do it. I do not believe anybody makes a video card with cec output there are standalone boxes to inject it.
DVI as a connector seems to do everything HDMI can do along with VGA. Many video cards can output full HDMI over a DVI port and use a simple adapter (no active parts just a change of form factor) and do the same for VGA. Moving to a HDMI connector gives us less flexibility it should never be better except for size. I'll take a positively locking connector over HDMI's friction fit any day.
Why would you buy a TV that only does 1920x1080 when you can get a higher res monitor? 1080P is not a lot of pixels nowadays it was the upper end of what they though they could do what 20 years ago when HDTV was being created? If anything the HDTV market is stagnating the pixel count on monitors.
Insulating better is generally a low cost homeowner able to do it sort of thing with huge payback people don't like it as it's messy. Looked into the spray foam insulation yet another you can only get a decent price if your a certified installer etc etc etc. Owning an old home popping some holes in putting in insulation makes a lot of sense before repainting.
The point of the contractor bit is a solar install is a few guys one or two days for 20-30k in labor. I am a EE and a contractors son so the homeowners install is not a problem. Point is these companies are eating up the government money, if I could get them for a homeowner install payback would be a couple years, I would probably over provision to sell back at that point.
When looking into the real cost of solar I found that my homeowners insurance premiums would skyrocket. This ate into the payback significantly. Secondly all these rebates etc require professional installation the installers know it and have jacked up there prices to match the panels are 18-27k (90 $200-300 panels 100 watts each, and I can get them much cheaper) the installers all quote in the 50-60k range all the incentives and rebates knock it back down to 20-30k so effectively the installers are pocketing the rebates. I've seen this before whenever the rebates require professional installation.
I have an understanding of basic physics power comes from 2 sources atomic (fission/fusion) and gravity. Hydroelectric is tapped out as it's a very good source of power but it requires nature to cooperate. Burning stuff makes sense for a few things mostly our own trash and we only have so much stuff to burn and burning stuff that's been effectively sequestering carbon for a few million years is not sustainable is not a great long term idea. Wind is not a great baseline load, requires a lot of space and is visually displeasing. Solar again needs a lot of space and the price needs to come down significantly (30k to cover my needs with a life expectancy of 20 years + maintenance costs it's at best break even) again not baseline load. Wave power could be a baseline load similar to hydro, environmental impact still tbd. I miss any?
Atomic power makes sense outside of wave power it gets rid of the middle men. As to cost we have crazy regimes that deem things less radioactive that a human as radioactive waste. Most of the cost is these units are one off and we refuse to let them recycle as that can spin off weapons grade materials. FYI coal plants put more uranium in the air than all the accidents put together has even released. The best current fit would seem to be the 70mw Russian barge based power plants.
The world is moving away because they are scared of it not because there is good reason to be scared. Atomic energy is a tool and like most tools it's dangerous. Long term we need to insure power gets cheaper and more abundant to continue to grow as a society.
Yes let the rest of the world stop using the only scalable sensible power source. If we can avoid letting the big corps and the nimbly's making it massively expensive we could be positioned to make a resurgence. It will never happen were to short sighted for that.
You can get far more machines behind a single IP, the 65k limit is how many of them can talk to the same IP/port at the same time this does not limit them to that many total devices behind nat.
65k devices you say, you seem to know very little about NAT you need to have a unique port at the NAT box per unique ip/port/ip/port tuple, I've seen far more devices than that overloaded onto a single IP in corp networks, that said a lot can depend on the devices your using to perform NAT (PAT realy but that's a whole other debate). NAT still breaks things that should work SIP and FTP being the prime examples realy anything that can find 3 or more way communications useful. It makes sense for my phone call to go between phone A and B in my house even though were using a outside PBX, it makes sense to be able to copy files from server a to server B but getting instructions and authentication from client C. NAT was a hack that got the job done it's far from the optimum.
The whole debate is mute we need to move to a new addressing platform, 4 billion addresses are not sufficient for 7 billion people. I've got 40 ish IP's in use at my home alone and as everything become connected I expect that number to go up. I expect that the number of network to increase Bluetooth pans, zigbee and others can all link devices together including ip traffic. Is my refrigerator supposed to NAT for my coffee maker or the other way around? I do want my hypothetical coffee maker to talk to my alarm clock and hot water heater letting them know I've trying to get up at 5:30 not 7:30 and to get things ready,
Still need to extend the yellows, far to many municipalities are shortening them, to increase revenues from automatic fines. Getting a fine is a reason to pay a lawyer to fix it, they are cheaper in my state than the fines alone forget what it does to your insurance rates.
Well if a computer can predict this it could I don't know hold the yellow longer so they do not run a red light and potentially cause an accident. Fining people has little to no value it's using a stick to try and illicit better behavior. The point is to reduce accidents not make money for the government.

Copyright law, if your doing that on a large scale it's a criminal offence. The point is were not to assume everybody is a criminal by default.
So how long till political campaigns get a fair use exception written into law? They did it for the do not call list after all.

There job is to scare people into thinking that this system does anything. Anything past bomb sniffing dogs is overkill on domestic flights.

About 60k a month if you do not mind cogent. Do not expect to find that much free bandwidth at any single place.
